The football season is over, and it seems that many of Europe´s top stars are jetting off to the sun to relax and unwind.
The hotspot this year seems to be the Costa del Sol.
First to be spotted this week was Tottenham Hotspur manager, Harry Redknapp, enjoying a coffee outside well-known eaterie Da Bruno on Marbella´s main street, before enjoying the festivities of the town´s week-long feria. Harry was deep in conversation on his mobile, often with a hand over his mouth – maybe he was negotiating the signing of a big-name player…..or trying to flog a few of his own!

I´ve just spent a really lovely day here in Marbella, a day that reminded me why I live here.
After a fairly lazy breakfast this morning, I went for a dip in the community swimming pool and a 30 minute lie in the sun, reading a few chapters of a book. After a nice shower, I met friends at a beach bar in Marbella, where we shared a large jug of sangria and a fabulous paella while my friends´ kids played on the sand and paddled in the sea beside us.
