Star-spotting at La Manga Club
                                  a

I´ve just spent a few days at the famous La Manga Club Resort. Perhaps the most famous golf and leisure resort in Europe, La Manga has a track record of 30 years and was previously owned by P&O prior to Med Group´s current ownership. It is without doubt the Spanish golf resort that Polaris World and all the others try to emulate.

With 3 eighteen hole golf courses and a large tennis academy on site, La Manga is also home to a variety of bars and restaurants, as well as a fabulous spa, gymnasium and even its very own beach.

                                            a

Since moving to Spain earlier this year I have been overwhelmed with the opportunities for everyone to enjoy sport!

Compared to the UK where you get abused (from both your own team or opposition) on a Sunday morning whilst playing football, spend dark winter nights running into walls whilst playing squash and dodging the rain on a Saturday for the long awaited cricket match, Spain is definitely a breath of fresh air! My family and I have enjoyed a wealth of outdoor experiences, from walking on the mountains of La Concha in Marbella to competitive padel games at my local racquets club.

Golf Competitions in Spain
                                       a

I am a keen golfer who recently moved to the Costa del Sol and was looking for competitions to enter. This is what I found.

I had always spent many hours playing against friends or work colleagues for entertainment but wanted to play in more organized competitions.  Here on the Costa del Sol there are two ways to compete in golf.

Bad Press - Media Coverage of the Spanish Property Market - Part 2
                                            a

Supply and demand governs any market. Not all vendors are desperate to sell. In fact, with a market recovery likely at some point in the coming years, many vendors are content to keep hold of their properties rather than dispose of them at a discounted price.

Demand is always greater for beachside properties in Spain, or for properties within prestigious and highly regarded developments or areas, so in these cases vendors are more able to command the asking prices.
