Forest Fire in La Quinta    Boom Time for Spanish Holiday Rentals

La Torre Golf Resort in the south-eastern Spanish province of Murcia played host to the Davis Cup tennis semi-final between Spain and Israel in September. The Polaris World resort already boasts an 18 hole Nicklaus Design golf course, 5 star hotel & conference centre, plus an array of sports and leisure services…………and now it can add the coup of staging one of the world´s leading sporting events to its roll of honour.

The Spanish tennis authorities have this year been shifting the venue for their home ties. The quarter final was staged amidst luxury villas in Puerto Banus, where Spain had to endure a hard-fought victory against fierce rivals Germany.

The Israelis proved to be nowhere near as much of a test for the Spanish at La Torre Golf Resort in the semi, with the favourites romping to an impressive 4-1 win.

So now we are all geared up for the final, with Spain again set to host the event from 4th to 6th December, with the venue yet to be announced. The opponents will be the Czech Republic.
