With the new Formula 1 motor racing season almost upon us, the leading teams, such as McLaren, Ferrari and Renault have been putting their cars through their paces at the circuit in Jerez in Southern Spain.
The circuit is located next door to the Montecastillo Golf Resort, approximately 10 minutes from the centre of the charming city of Jerez.
Although the weather this week has been mixed to say the least, it has afforded the teams and drivers an opportunity to test the cars in a variety of ´real race´ conditions.
I´m hoping to get a chance to visit the circuit before practice finishes tomorrow, but my spy on the ground has already told me that there is one driver that has been flying around the track and looking very impressive all week – forget Hamilton and Massa – watch out for a supercharged Fernando Alonso this coming season.
